Sudhir Jain is a Canadian writer who lives in Calgary, Alberta. He writes in various genres: a collection of stories was published in 2007 under the title "Isolde's Dream and Other Stories" by Bayeux Arts, He published several hundred letters and other microsubmissions which were published as "Couldn't Shut Up" by PublishAmerica. Both books are available at Publishers' sites or at amazon.ca. A collection of fifty short stories "A Little Night's Amusement" is available on Kindle.
Sudhir's novel and two other collections are being reviewed by editors. "Queen of Qazipur: An Ordinary Life" is the life of an Indian woman who lived through most of the twentieth century and played her part in bringing enormous social changes at the grass roots. His collection "Pages From An Immigrant's Diary" are the stories of immigrant experience told with humour. Third collection includes the stories of interaction when East meets West with a unique combination of humour and poignancy.
Sudhir writes essays on national and international social, political and economic issues, occasionally published in the media but most of them for this blog.
